Community Guidelines

Who wears the crown

Compete hard. Play fair. Keep it real.

Crown is a competition, and a competition only works when everyone plays by the same rules. These guidelines apply everywhere on Crown — feed, challenges, comments, DMs, and profiles.

Do

  • Post original photos and videos you created or have rights to.
  • Rate honestly based on the challenge — reward effort and creativity.
  • Credit collaborators, sponsors, and sources when relevant.
  • Report content that violates these guidelines instead of engaging with it.

Don't

  • Nudity, partial nudity, lingerie, or any sexual or suggestive content — Crown is a family-friendly (PG) app.
  • Any content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance — reported to authorities).
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted attacks on any group.
  • Violence, gore, self-harm, or content that promotes dangerous acts.
  • Impersonation, catfishing, or misrepresenting who you are.
  • Spam, scams, phishing, or unsolicited promotion.
  • Bots, purchased ratings, coordinated voting, or any rank manipulation.
  • Reposting someone else's work as your own or infringing copyright.
  • Sharing private information (addresses, phone numbers, IDs) without consent.

What happens when a rule is broken

Depending on severity, we may remove the content, revoke crowns and challenge wins, suspend the account, or ban the account permanently. Serious violations (child safety, credible threats, illegal activity) are reported to law enforcement.

If your account is actioned and you believe it was a mistake, reply to the notification you received or email appeals@crown.app.
